Facilities and Budget

The Facilities that we would need to use are a12 ft X 60ft plot of ground that, if used, would be divided amongst two groups. Our group would be using a 12ft X 30ft segment of land to plant water resistant California native plants. The soil at the location is less then suitable for growing plants. The soil should be mixed with nutrient rich soil to create a healthy blend suitable for growing plants in. The soil also contains many rocks that would be recycled and used to help create a path through the garden.

VI. Budget -Innis
Between 100 to 200 hundred dollars would be ideal, this would include the amount of funding that we may or may not receive from local businesses and organizations.  

• Dirt for a 12 X 30 ft
• No need for irrigation, the plants will be watered by a designated person from the class, this will save money and let our group show responsibility for the garden
• Reusing dirt
• No planter boxes
• Wood to line the area, to separate the garden from the rest of the area.
• No need to purchase material for the path, the gravel that will be removed from the dirt will be reused.
