8th Grade "Hard Core Hawk" Students from Timberview Middle School spent a chilly spring morning making observations of their environment.  Students were encouraged to pick a spot and journal from all senses - sight, sound, smell, and touch.  Students were surprised at the detail they were able to observe when they took a moment to slow down and look.
