Our friends at Fossil, located in Richardson, sent 6 wonderful employees to help us out with 3 projects in our garden. The first project is the "Art in the Garden" project. We wanted to reuse 5 wooden pallets and create art for our garden. Our 5th grade students were going to design and paint the pallets during their art class. Our Fossil volunteers prepared the pallets for students by painting them solid red, blue, green and yellow.
A job well done! And so quickly, too!

Project #2- Planting a new perennial bed by the Earth science station
Where there was once a bare piece of land, we now have a beautiful bed of perennials to enjoy when we sit on the bench!

Project #3 Drilling holes in 6 beams that would serve as a perimeter border for a garden
area
