Art in the Garden

Reusable Art Project
A colorful final touch to our garden and it didn't cost us a cent! We asked the food delivery service for our cafeteria if we could have 7 wooden pallets to use for an art project for our garden. They graciously said yes, and we were on our way. We also had left over paint from our wooden fence project last year. So, we decided to add more color to our garden with colorful pallets painted by our 5th grade students as a parting gift. The pallets were painted by our volunteers from Fossil (see activity). Jamie Moore, our art teacher guided the students in sketching and painting the designs of fruits, vegetables, fish, insects and flowers on 5 of the pallets.

Touch ups on the pallets will be done during the summer. We will post finished products when they are finished.
