Purchasing Recycled Paper and Other Products

Rainbow, as part of its mission, strives to be a steward of the environment.

As such, the school uses recycled paper (as high of a percentage as it can find) when teachers make paper copies for students. In addition, all students and staff have a bin to which they deposit paper that is no longer needed - and anyone can use this paper for scrap paper and/or notes.

In addition, when the school purchases electronics, whoever does the purchasing makes an effort to purchase refurbished products. 

Recently, the school purchased a video camera and the camera itself was refurbished.
