Plastic Bag Round Up

In May, Negley students went to friends and neighbors and rounded up plastic shopping bags in a challenge from HEB grocery partners.  The winning grade received a party with HEBs mascot (HEB Buddy).  The entire school collected 14,000 plastic bags.  Kindergarten won the contest with a round up of 300 bags.  All of the plastic was collected by HEB and will be sent to off to create reusable bags.  Thank you HEB for the education and challenge.
