Kid's Inquiry Conference

On May 27, 2011, the fifth graders at Dooley held a Kid's Inquiry Conference and performed experiments to help answer scientific and environmental questions.  The fifth graders presented their questions and results to 4th grade students as another learning avenue.  Examples of questions are:

1.  In which environment will a plant survive best in, an enclosed environment or an open one?

2.  Which pond is most healthy, an Allen, TX pond or a Plano, TX pond?

3.  What brand of battery would recharge the most efficiently using a solar panel?
