Walk and Bike to School Day

Walkability and Bikeability Checklist completed by each student and each family in our school K-5. Walking and Biking safety reviewed in all Eco-classes in each grade level. Flyers designed and sent home with each student. PTA volunteers and campus personell assigned duties for morning and afterschool for Oct. 5, 2011. Walk to school day completed as a huge success. Entire community involved...buses were almost empty and very few cars dropped off at school. Everyone had a great time and felt a part of an important event.
