Observations of Objects in the Sky

Kindergarten classes learned about objects in the daytime and nighttime sky that they could easily observe. They took the classroom outside to observe and record objects in the daytime sky. They drew and wrote about what they saw in the sky and then took the observations back to the classroom to discuss and further learn.

The next week, homework was assigned to observe and record objects in the nighttime sky at home. These drawings and writings were also further discussed in class and displayed for the others in class to see and discuss.
