A fun success!

This project was once again a success! Students are really excited about going to the zoo for research in the first place, because as high school students field trips aren't that common. Once at the zoo, students really get into critiqueing the habitats and the importance of zoos for endangered animals. Many students haven't realized how restrictive many habitats can be, even if they are considered high quality habitats. The designs that students created were well thought out and explained; they would be cost effective for the zoo and beneficial for the animal.
