Weekly Recycling

Two years ago, our school began a recycling program. Throughout the week, students and teachers place paper and plastic in blue recycling bins. There are bins in every classroom and each work room. Every Friday, the student council collects the contents of each blue bin and transports it to the recycling dumpster in the back of the school. This not only makes a positive impact on the enviroment, but is a great learning experience for our students and teachers. In addition to recycling, we have made an effort as a school to reduce the use of paper. E-mails are sent instead of paper copies whenever possible, and fewer copies are made when appropriate.
